    Ranunkulyus.

Ranunkulyus in Latin, also known as Asian or garden buttercup (Ranunculus asiaticus) - still a rare visitor in our gardens. His wonderful flowers 5-7 cm diameter with similar flowers opening - on roses, and in the full dissolution - miniature double poppies: white, yellow, orange, pink, red, crimson variety of colors depending on the variety.

    Ranunkulyus

Ranunkulyus reaches a height of 30-40 cm, has deeply divided leaves and decorated with a lush garden bright blooms for a month in the middle of summer. On each stem blooms few flowers; ranunkulyus used for cut flowers (flowers are about a week in a bouquet) and distillation.

Spring nodules ranunkulyusa planted in open ground when the earth warms (roughly from mid-April - early May). Before planting nodules to soak for several hours in the water with growth stimulants for swelling. Ranunkulyus planted in a sunny spot (or light partial shade) in the fertile drained soil with the addition of well-rotted compost or peat, placing nodules in the soil "beak" down.

Planting depth nodules 5-7 cm, the distance between them - 10-15 cm. Appeared shoots (usually 10 days after planting) with the threat of frost is necessary to cover cover material. One nodule approximately 2 months after planting grows several stems, which soon revealed the first flowers; regular watering and removing faded flowers prolong flowering.

In hot weather, the flowers will wither and ranunkulyusa worse pollinated. For seed multiplication leave the first flowers, which ripen in early autumn are numerous, but having a small percentage of germination of seeds.

Ranunkulyus nemorozustoychiv, so in regions with cold winters of his nodules dug in the fall immediately after the death of foliage, carefully washed from their land and divide overgrown "nest" nodules, trying not to damage the fission of very fragile roots. Do ranunkulyusa active vegetative reproduction: every adult klubenёk forms for the season 5-7, and the seedling to 3 "kids". Nodules are dried and stored for several days before planting in dry peat or sand in a cool place.

In late February - early March ranunkulyusa selected viable seeds are put in a box filled with a moist, fertile and friable, steamed ground. Lightly sprinkled crops, carefully watered them from the spray and cover with glass. Box was placed on a light windowsill glass each day is inverted and rubbed.

After a week and a half after the crops begin to appear the first sprouts, which airs every day and finally removed after the glass reinforcement. Shoots ranunkulyusa contain a light spot (preferably supplementary lighting) and in a cool (below 20 degrees), otherwise they are greatly elongated. By early May, the height of seedlings okolo10 cm; them neatly planted in the garden parnichok at a distance of 10-15 cm from each other.

Parnichok better obtyanut cover material, as well protecting the seedlings from the bright sun and the heat and the cold wind and frost, but transmissive moisture and scattered sunlight. After the frost, when the seedlings grow stronger after transplantation and touched in height, covering material is removed. Young seedlings ranunkulyusa form in a season full nodules (they even give "kids"), and bloom.
